Diane Pfeifer has had a variety of interesting careers. Before concocting cookbooks and Grits Bits, she was a lead guitarist in an all-girl rock band, a pharmaceutical chemist, backup singer for Tammy Wynette, a country music songwriter with over 40 songs recorded including 2 Top 15 country singles for Debby Boone, a recording artist on Capitol Records, and a commercial actress and voice-over talent who recorded wrong number messages for the phone company.
She’s written and self-published five cookbooks plus humorous parenting books co-written with her husband, with over a million books in print. TV appearances include “Regis & Kathie Lee”, “Donny & Marie”, CBS Morning News, and CNN, while her one-woman publishing company has been featured in “The Wall Street Journal”, “Newsweek” and “Southern Living.”
She invented “Grits Bits” cheese snack biscuits and cookies baked with grits, and added other Georgia gourmet products in response to requests from brides and event planners looking for Georgia-themed gift baskets.
Diane resides in Atlanta and is available for fun and inspiring speaking engagements.
